Leave it to a kindergartener to pick out the perfect gift. As a teacher, I have received many thoughtful gifts…but none of them quite like this. Midnight, our new classroom kitty, breaths and purrs as she lies in her bed. She even came with a brush and a birth certificate! The kids love to visit my desk and brush her.
When my little friend brought it into the classroom in this pet carrier, she could hardly contain her excitement. “Open it!” she squealed with delight. She picked the gift because she knows I love cats and the color purple. She decided this cat looked the most like my actual cat, Shirley, and it has a purple collar.
It is the perfect pet for the classroom!
